My goodness, I swear you can have the best of intentions but sometimes life just gets in the way. I thought I’d be more diligent at writing but quickly realized that my “free-time” is pretty much non-existent in the summer. I haven’t taken much time to “smell the roses” lately! I have to work at reminding myself to do that. Gigging 4-5 nights a week isn’t very conducive to blogging I guess (LOL). I am excited however because I just got word that I have an opportunity to do a live CD recording in the next few months. Not only do I get to perform with some of New England’s finest musicians, but I’ll get the chance to do some of my original music that’s sort of been on hold for awhile. Having people appreciate your art is always very validating, and I’ve definitely been blessed with a huge support system. I don’t know what’s in store for the future, but it’s looking pretty bright at the moment! (No, I didn’t win Power Ball…this time 🙂 )
